Love Where You Live; Where Everyone Knows Your Name

Where you know your neighbors, and they know you

Buffalo River

Community Proud

We care for our fellow citizens, with open doors and welcoming arms.

As you sit on your own front porch, watching the sun set in the west, you can hear the birds saying goodnight to each other. The sweet melodies of the forest are settling down for the night. When it gets darker and darker, you think you've never seen the stars shine so bright as they do out in the country, away from the big city and traffic noises. This is where Lobelville is located, in Perry County, Tennessee. This is where you can find peace and comfort, knowing that something in the air makes you feel safe and secure. This is where we call home.

Lobelville sits on the bank of the Buffalo River, a designated scenic river full of wildlife and people fishing, swimming, floating, and otherwise enjoying one of the genuine jewels of Middle Tennessee.

    Frequent Questions

Tennessee law does not require mailing tax notices indicating the amount of taxes due. Property owners are presumed to know that taxes are due without personal notice. Failure to receive a tax bill does not relieve the payment responsibility, nor is this a reason for interest charges to be dismissed if the tax bill becomes delinquent. (CTAS-1573), T.C.A. § 67-5-2101
